Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a mobile-based Point of Sale (POS) application to assist small businesses in managing sales transactions, product data, and inventory efficiently. The application provides features such as user authentication, product management, stock monitoring, and real-time transaction processing. The development method applied in this study is the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The results show that the developed application is capable of recording transactions accurately, calculating total payments and change automatically, and providing stock availability information with low-stock notifications. In addition, the system supports product search and categorization, making it easier for users to manage inventory. The implementation of this application improves operational efficiency, reduces human error in transaction calculations, and enhances decision-making through structured and real-time data. Furthermore, the application offers a simple and user-friendly interface, making it suitable for daily business operations.
