Abstrak

In a company, human resources are used as a position that has an important role because in the process of achieving targets it will directly involve them. In this study, to determine and analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Batam Teknologi Gas. The work target level of PT Batam Teknologi Gas' employees has decreased, this is evidenced by the lack of motivation from employees. The existing data collection every month in 2020, the realization of the target every month is still not able to achieve the work target perfectly. Work motivation for employees, there are several problems that exist in the company such as in terms of performance for employees who work less in accordance with what is desired, such as in terms of the level of work discipline of employees who work inappropriately such as not being on time according to the hours that have been set specify. PT Batam Teknologi Gas has a population of 212 employees used simple random sampling technique which is a sample of 139 employees. Based on the test results, it is stated that motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
